I have been introduced to flying since the age of 17 and I have loved it till today. YFC has introduced me to another side of the world à FREEDOM in the SKY! Since then, I have set my mind to enter into the aviation world. In short, SIA. However, for the past 2 years, I have been trying to apply to SIA. But it was never successful. Many of my pilot friends just kept telling me not to give up. They were very encouraging.
There came D’s wedding night where I saw BP. We sat at the same table and he started asking me if I am still interested in flying. Without hesitation, I told him I am still! I am still trying and had been doing so for the past 2 years. He was shocked and asked me why I did not approach him and his gang for help. I told him that I don’t really know them well and hence I did not approach them. Eventually BP was very nice and he volunteered to help me.
Last week, I told him about the rejected application and he told me to look for another guy for help as he is away on holiday. That guy was another ex-YFC member who is actively helping many to enter SIA even LY. LY got in recently. I am so happy for him!
I sms him and he called me that night to talk and asked me for some details. He told me that he will help me but with no promises. But this will take months. At that point in time, I am really happy! I can’t wait to get a reply from SIA or even from him. I know its going to take sometime, but I will endure. Crossing my fingers for myself! Hoping for some good news manz. yeah! =D
